The Beach is right in front of the hotel, there are also other water activities close to the beach to explore. The employees were pleasant and helpful too.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ein tolles Familiengeführtes Hotel mit direkter Lage am Strand und herzlichem Service in allen Bereichen. September 2023 Wir waren das erste Mal auf Korfu, mit direkter Fluganbindung vom Airport Lübeck LBC nach Corfu CFU. Kurze Flugzeit, große Erwartungen und die wurden uns im "Iliada Beach Hotel" erfüllt. Schon beim einchecken fühlten wir uns zu Hause. Die Zimmer sind frisch renoviert "Superior Doppelzimmer" ausgestattet mit kostenfreier Nutzung des WLAN, des Safes, Wasserkocher mit Tee und Kaffee (und zwei Ouzo und Soda) , sowie  Klima und Deckenventilator.  Wir hatten nur Frühstück gebucht (das Frühstück ist i.O. ) um die Gastronomie in Gouvia zu testen. Wir haben in 14 Tagen viele Restaurants besucht und keine Enttäuschung erlebt! Hervorheben möchte ich das Restaurant "The Best"! Hier wurde mein erster Gedanke an einen Grillimbiss mit Qualität und einem tollen Team eines besseren belehrt! Ich empfehle den Grill-Mix, oder einfach einen Burger!!!! Auch das Restaurant Sayan (Chinesisch/Thai) war hervorragend und mit keinem unserer Restaurants in Deutschland zu vergleichen! Aber auch das "À La Carte Restaurant" im "Iliada Beach Hotel" ist mit 4 Sternen zu bewerten (der Service ist einzigartig, selbst Mückenspray wird Dir auf Anfrage "SERVIERT :-) ) und die Speisen von bester Qualität! Solltet Ihr einen Abstecher nach Albanien (liegt nahe) planen empfehle ich keine Buchung über Euren Veranstalter, sondern den entspannten Weg der Eigenplanung! : Einfach mit dem Bus (7) nach Corfu, am Hafen aussteigen, Ticket für die Fähre kaufen (kein Visum nötig 90 Tage Aufenthaltsrecht :-) der Personalausweis langt) und den Tag z.B. in Sarandë erkunden und genießen! Den Norden Korfu´s haben wir dann doch mit einer Buchung unseres Reiseveranstalters erfahren und es war sehr schön und Informativ. Mein Fazit zu dieser Reise: Wir kommen sicher wieder (dann aber nur im "Iliada Beach Hotel" ) !

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Das Hotel liegt zentral mit direktem Zugang zum Kiesstrand. Schon an der Rezeption wird man herzlich empfangen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Wir hatten Zimmer mit Blick auf die Rezeption und seitlich aufs Meer. Sehr schön! Das Reinigungspersonal war hervorragend! Auch an der Bar und in Restaurant trafen wir auf sehr freundliches Personal. Die Speisen waren sehr lecker und obwohl wir keine Halbpension hatten, waren wir mehrfach im hoteleigenen Restaurant essen. Wir können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
